Shiva Prasad Khanal, Esq. has in-depth knowledge and experience in different aspects of the practice. He has been practicing law in the US since 2016. His practice includes courts Litigation, Immigration Law, Adoption and Guardianship proceedings, Commercial Transaction, and Family Law and a wide range of issues related to clients' station of life. Mr. Khanal served as a Legal Officer for the Government of Nepal and represented in the Supreme Court, Appellate courts, and other government wings on behalf of the Government of Nepal. Mr. Khanal was a Dean’s Merit Scholar at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he received his LL.M degree focusing on General Legal Studies, Corporations, and Immigration Laws. He has also received his LL.M. degree from Purbanchal University, where he was ranked the top in his batch in the Law faculty. He also received an honorable Nepal Vidhya Bhusan Gold Medal (Nepalese Presidential Medal for Scholastic Achievement). He was also awarded the Kanunacharya Gold Medal from Purbanchal University and Nepal Bar Council Gold Medal for his uncanny ability for his academic achievement. He received his Bachelor's degree in Law from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Mr. Khanal is licensed to practice law before the New York State Courts, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is also admitted to practice law as an advocate in Nepal. Mr. Khanal is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AILA), New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), and Nassau County Bar Association.
